Internal Security Department
The Internal Security Department (ISD) is one of the intelligence agencies in Brunei Darussalam that operates under the Prime Minister’s Office.
Objectives of Establishment
To give early warning to The Government of His Majesty the Sultan regarding potential threats. Early action aims to assist His Majesty’s Government in taking preemptive measures to mitigate or prevent the occurrence of such threats.
Internal Security Act
The implementation, administration, and enforcement of the Internal Security Act and the Official Secrets Act are handled by the Internal Security Department.
